About Exchy

Exchy is a currency converter for people who travel. It has no ads and never will. It shows ATM fees and withdrawal limits for 35 countries, checks the rate an exchange office offers against the real one, and works offline with the last saved rates. 160+ currencies, 71 languages.

Who makes it

Exchy is made by Value Productions, a marketing and product studio run by Peter Garazha. Questions and corrections: peter@value.productions.

How the guides are written

Every number on this site carries a link to its source: a central bank, a customs authority, a bank's own fee page or our own survey. Pages show the date they were last updated. Where we could not find a source, the page says so instead of guessing. Live exchange rates come from Exchange Rate API and are refreshed in your browser.

Our own data

ATM fees and limits for 35 countries, collected and checked by us. A survey of 100 currency apps on Google Play with their install counts and whether they show ads. Street and bank exchange rates for 30 countries inside the app.
